Hello and welcome back! If you have not yet done so please subscribe to us on iTunes or wherever you get your podcast, and like us on Facebook.

Today’s episode is about unapologetically being yourself, and how being you helps support your healing.

Whether you are mild or wild or anywhere in between, just be you. I know that for some of you this is hard to do, and some of you are not even sure what I mean because you’ve lived your whole adult life trying to fit into a role or someone else’s version of you. So if you find it difficult or uncomfortable to be yourself, I invite you to first remember and imagine what it was like to be you as a child. So close your eyes if you can, and recall a childhood memory when you were in your element having fun and enjoying the moment. Recall what you were doing, recall your surroundings and then explore your senses: what did you see, what were the smells, and how were the sounds? Was there a taste associated with the experience or a sense of touch, like feeling of your comfy clothes or a soft blanket?

While holding this alive memory, ask your younger self: what is the one small habit or thing you can do today that’s innately you, even if it seems silly to others?

Grab a pen and paper or your phone and write it down. And then go ahead and do it. Commit to incorporating that one habit or action into your daily life, regardless of what anyone else things about it (as long as you are not causing harm to others, of course).

You may think this is silly or may be wondering, where are we going with this, but here is the thing: by not being who we truly are perhaps we are causing an unease in our mind, in our body in our soul, and in some way directly or indirectly contributing to our dis-ease, which is turn is causing our disease. Are you with me?

What I’m saying is: by being your authentic self you are honoring your higher self, your truth, which is that part of you that can also heal you. By doing just one thing that’s totally you, you are validating your soul and telling your higher self “I see you, and you matter.” And with this one action you are able to step into your self-healing power.

Again , Whether you are mild or wild or anywhere in between ask your younger self, what is the one small habit or thing you can do today that’s innately you, even if it seems silly to others?

Invoke your self-healer by authentically and unapologetically being you until we speak again! If you got value from this episode and know someone else that would get value from it as well, please share it with them. And in the meantime, I dare you to find the truth in your cancer!
